Cancellation Policy

Please understand that we reserve our time for you. We require cancellation or change of day/time of all appointments 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, so that we will have the opportunity to fill that time with another client. When an appointment is reserved for you, the therapist's time is set aside for your appointment. We are a donation only funded ministry. Please understand that if you repeatedly miss appointments without properly giving us notice 24 hours in advance, we will no longer be able to guarantee any further appointments being set for you. The people who donate money, so that clients may receive free counseling and other services, do so to enable services through Wings ReBorn to available for you. The therapist's time still must be compensated for when you fail to attend. 

 

If you think illness or inclement weather may be a factor to session attendance, please call, text, or email the day of the appointment by 7am EST to let us know. You may also change an appointment from an In Office session to a Telephone or Video Call appointment instead of missing the appointment all together.

 

Phone Call Policy for Counseling Clients

In general, for non-emergency or non-life threatening concerns, we prefer the client to wait until their next appointment to discuss issues that arise. If you cannot get a sooner appointment and the issue cannot wait, we will accept brief phone calls. Please do not expect therapy during these brief calls. 

 

EMDR clients please call if you are concerned after an EMDR session; You do not need to wait.

 

Suicidal clients should call 911; 1-800-Suicide; www.befrienders.org, or local emergency room to get immediate help. We cannot provide emergency services or after hours care.
